Sporting Antiques
We have been one of the UK's top wholesalers in old sporting goods for over 20 years, historically based at our sister business's premises at Warboys, a village north of Huntingdon. There you would have found a vast cross-section of genuine old sporting artifacts ranging from the usual golf club, tennis rackets, fishing reels and leather suitcases to the more exotic Roller Hockey sticks and Graeco-Roman wrestlers boots! All interspersed with hundreds of biscuit tins and other decorative and collectable smalls. The bad news is that this shop closed on December 23rd 2000. The good news is that we are still in business at our Georgian town house home in St Ives; a historically famous town on the river Ouse. Here, it's still true that it's almost inconceivable that you cannot find something to interest you, even if it is not a man with seven Wives! Anyway, as you will see from the photos, we almost literally go from A-Z in not just sporting items, but also a whole range of 'collectibles'. Moreover if you cannot see it, it doesn't mean we haven't got one nor does it mean we can't get one!
